A week of what trainer Nicky Henderson described as 'purgatory' ended with one of the greatest victories of his 33-year career when Long Run claimed victory in a vintage Cheltenham Gold Cup.The uneasy backdrop to the biggest week of the jump racing year has been the medication error that prevented Henderson's reigning champion hurdler Binocular defending his title on Tuesday.
