Duncan Fletcher has been appointed as the new coach of the India cricket team.The World Cup winners have moved to appoint former England coach Fletcher, 62, after Gary Kirsten stepped down from the post to spend more time with his family.India's cricket board (BCCI) announced on Wednesday that Zimbabwean Fletcher has signed a two-year deal.Fletcher stepped down as England coach in 2007 after eight years in charge.
